What problem does this solve?
Your inbox fragments across inbound mail, sent mail, and your calendar, making it easy to miss what actually needs your attention. Unread doesn't mean missed, and read doesn't mean handled—so you're left guessing what slipped, what you promised, and what's waiting on you. Without a way to surface genuine commitments, you waste time scanning or accidentally drop important threads.
How does it work?
You get a focused brief that surfaces only what genuinely needs your attention—unanswered questions from people who matter, commitments you made that are now due, and calendar conflicts. The skill drafts routine replies in your voice and remembers what's open between runs, so nothing resets each morning and carried-over items show how long they've been waiting.
What's the biggest win?
Stop missing commitments and get a daily brief that surfaces only what genuinely needs you.
What's required to run this?
Requires Outlook mail, Outlook calendar, and SharePoint or OneDrive connectors. Memory persists in a SharePoint document library or OneDrive folder in two files: triage-config.md (your identity, who matters, voice registers, drafting rules) and triage-state.md (what's currently open). Setup derives config from your actual mail behaviour rather than guessing. The skill never sends mail, deletes anything, archives, marks read, writes to the calendar, or changes SharePoint permissions.
What are the constraints?
Never sends mail—only creates drafts for your review Never deletes, moves, archives, flags, or marks mail read Never writes to the calendar or changes SharePoint sharing Cannot access out-of-scope mailboxes (personal accounts mixed with shared team mailboxes are skipped entirely) Outlook has no equivalent of Gmail's promotions/social categories—suppression of automated senders is built from mail history at setup, not outsourced to the platform Draft creation, mail search, and calendar read failures degrade gracefully but are reported honestly in the brief
What should I watch out for?
This skill requires careful setup—config that guesses at who matters destroys trust on day one, so setup derives identity, voice, and important people from your actual mail behaviour rather than interrogating you. The biggest learning curve is accepting that a one-line brief on a quiet day is working correctly, not a failure. Drafting is intentionally conservative; it skips anything touching money, legal matters, negotiations, HR, first contact with prospects, or anything you'd be held to on a number—borderline calls are flagged instead so you decide. The memory folder must be kept in SharePoint or OneDrive (team libraries are usually indexed, so assume colleagues may see these files); sensitive data like account numbers or health details is never stored. If you're used to deleting, archiving, or auto-flagging your mail, the read-only approach here requires a different workflow—this skill surfaces; you still do the filing. On a shared team mailbox connected to your personal profile, the skill will not read or scan it unless explicitly configured, to avoid triaging mail meant for the team.
Key Features
Focused Mail Triage
Surfaces only unanswered questions from people who matter, ignoring reads, CCs, and FYIs so you see only what genuinely needs you.
Promised-Due Tracking
Scans your sent mail for promises made ('I'll circle back this afternoon', 'we'll have that ready for you by Friday') and surfaces them when they come due.
Voice-Matched Drafts
Drafts routine replies in your own voice registers, which are derived from your actual email patterns at setup rather than guessed.
Carried-Over Memory
Remembers what's open between runs with day counts, so chronic blockers show as escalating rather than silent repetition, and nothing resets each morning.
Calendar + Email Link
Connects open threads to related meetings so you see what prep material or decisions a meeting needs before it starts.

AI-Assisted Incident Root Cause Analysis
Rapidly synthesize fragmented incident evidence into a structured root-cause diagnosis, distinguishing correlation from causation and confidence levels. The workflow builds a validated timeline, evaluates competing hypotheses, and produces remediation steps without inventing conclusions when evidence remains incomplete.
