Design Your Visual Identity Direction

0June 2026

Develops three contrasting visual directions using Chris Do's Stylescapes methodology, grounded in your positioning and voice.

What problem does this solve?

Produces a visual identity grounded in your positioning and voice so your design system reflects your strategy instead of aesthetic guessing. This skill runs Chris Do's Stylescapes method: three contrasting visual directions, each with a distinct personality, color palette, typography, and imagery style, all tied back to your positioning and voice. Without this connection, your logo and colors exist as decoration, not as expressions of your brand.

How does it work?

Run brand-visual-identity after positioning, messaging, and voice are draft-ready. The skill reads all three and generates three visual directions, each with a name, personality description, color palette (primary, secondary, accent, neutrals) with usage rationale, typography pairing (heading, body, optional mono), imagery guidelines, icon style, and logo direction. Each direction connects explicitly to your positioning and voice. You review, choose one direction or ask for iteration, and the skill documents the rationale. Output: brand-brief.md updated with chosen direction, full color specifications with hex codes and usage, typography families and weights, imagery style guide, and logo concept direction.
