Part of Build Your Brand With Expert Frameworks
Marketing Blueprint
Safety checkedCraft Your Brand Story and Voice
Builds messaging using StoryBrand BrandScript and defines your brand voice with NN/g dimensions, Aaker personality, and Jung archetypes.
What problem does this solve?
Turns your positioning into a cohesive story and voice so your brand talks consistently across all channels. Messaging reads your positioning and creates a narrative where the customer is the hero and you are the guide (Miller's StoryBrand). Voice defines how you talk: your four voice dimensions (funny/serious, formal/casual, respectful/irreverent, enthusiastic/matter-of-fact), your personality (Aaker's five: sincerity, excitement, competence, sophistication, ruggedness), and your archetype (Jung). Without this, positioning exists as a statement but not as something customers feel when they hear you talk.
How does it work?
Run brand-messaging and brand-voice in sequence after positioning is draft-ready. Messaging reads your positioning and walks through StoryBrand's seven components: character (customer and what they want), problem (villain, external, internal, philosophical), guide (your empathy and authority), plan (3-step path), call to action (direct and transitional), success (transformation), and failure (what they lose). It outputs a tagline, trueline, and elevator pitch. Voice reads your messaging and produces four voice dimensions (scored -3 to +3), primary and optional secondary personality types, an archetype, reference voices (sounds like), anti-references (not like), vocabulary (use and avoid), and on-brand vs off-brand examples with reasoning. Output: brand-brief.md updated with full BrandScript, messaging artifacts, and voice profile with numeric scoring and contrast examples.

Key Features
StoryBrand BrandScript
Seven-element narrative framework: character, problem (villain, external, internal, philosophical), guide (empathy + authority), plan, calls to action, success, failure. Produces tagline, trueline, and elevator pitch.
Voice Dimensions Scoring
NN/g's four dimensions scored -3 to +3: funny/serious, formal/casual, respectful/irreverent, enthusiastic/matter-of-fact. Numeric scoring forces intentionality.
Aaker Personality + Jung Archetype
Primary personality type (sincerity, excitement, competence, sophistication, ruggedness) plus optional secondary, anchored to a Jung archetype (innocent, explorer, sage, hero, etc.).
Contrast-Driven Definition
Defines voice by reference sounds (who you sound like) and anti-references (who you do not sound like). Voice without contrast is voice without edges.
On-Brand vs Off-Brand Examples
Produces context-specific examples of on-brand and off-brand language, showing why each works or fails. Helps teams apply voice consistently without templates.
