What problem does this solve?
Discovers new job offers across Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, and 42+ other company career pages using portal APIs, local parsers, Playwright navigation, and WebSearch, so you find opportunities without manually visiting each company site.
How does it work?
Once configured with target companies and role keywords in portals.yml, you run /career-ops scan. The system hits structured job feeds (Greenhouse API, Ashby GraphQL, Lever JSON, etc.) for zero tokens, then falls back to Playwright scraping for companies without APIs. WebSearch discovers new companies. New relevant offers are deduplicated against your pipeline and applications, then added as pending URLs ready for evaluation. Output: N new jobs in your pipeline, ranked by relevance to your target roles.

What's required to run this?
Level 0 (local parsers) and Level 2 (ATS APIs) execute in-engine with zero LLM cost. Level 1 (Playwright scraping) uses browser automation and may consume tokens if delegated to the agent. Level 3 (WebSearch) uses tokens but discovers new companies beyond your configured list. Rule: if a parser succeeds, subsequent Playwright and API calls for that company are skipped to save tokens.
