What problem does this solve?
Simulates rigorous peer review with multiple reviewer perspectives (Editor-in-Chief + 3 domain reviewers + Devil's Advocate) instead of single-agent feedback, so you get cross-disciplinary critique with 0-100 quality rubric scoring before human reviewers see your work. It produces editorial decisions, revision roadmaps, and re-review verification so you can iterate on acceptance criteria instead of guessing what reviewers want.
How does it work?
Once set up, run /ars-reviewer to trigger full review: (1) EIC reads paper and creates editorial framing, (2) Field analyst auto-detects research domain and configures 3 field-adaptive reviewers (methodology, domain, interdisciplinary), (3) Each reviewer commits scoring plan (Schema 13 Sprint Contract, paper-content-blind Phase 1) before reading the paper (Phase 2), (4) Reviews with 0-100 rubric on internal validity / external validity / contribution (decision mapping: ≥80 Accept, 65-79 Minor Revision, 50-64 Major Revision, <50 Reject), (5) Devil's Advocate challenges thesis with concession-threshold protocol (rebuttals scored 1-5, concede only ≥4, no frame-lock), (6) Editorial Synthesizer runs three-step mechanical protocol (build matrix, evaluate with panel-relative quantifier, resolve by severity precedence). Calibration mode accepts user-supplied gold set (20+ examples recommended, FNR<0.15 + FPR<0.10 threshold).
