What problem does this solve?
Teaches Claude the correct n8n expression syntax and the critical webhook data gotcha (data lives under .body, not at root), so it writes expressions that work first time instead of generating references that evaluate to undefined.
How does it work?
When you ask to access webhook fields, reference previous node data, or work with timestamps, this skill activates and shows the correct syntax: {{$json.body.name}} for webhook payloads, {{$node["Node Name"].json.field}} for previous nodes, and {{$now.toFormat('yyyy-MM-dd')}} for dates. It covers when to use expressions vs Code nodes and anti-patterns like the Set node wrapper.

What's required to run this?
Webhook data structure is specific to n8n's Webhook node; other trigger types (HTTP, form, etc.) have different shapes. Expression evaluation is context-dependent: {{}} syntax works in fields but not in Code nodes (use direct access instead). $env access may be blocked on instances with N8N_BLOCK_ENV_ACCESS_IN_NODE enabled.
